Prey 2006 как сделать разрешение 1920×1080
Если разрешение в Prey вас не устраивает (в том числе то, что имеется на выбор в настройках графики), то можно выставить произвольное путем некоторых нехитрых манипуляций. Допустим, нам надо разрешение 1920×1080.
Начнем с создания текстового документа, который называем autoexec, затем замените его расширение с .txt на .cfg, получив тем самым файл autoexec.cfg.
Открывайте данный файл при помощи обычного Блокнота Windows, в него копируйте текст:

Go to Prey install folder and find the preyconfig.cfg file in the base folder. Usefully located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Prey\base
If it’s not there then right click on the game in Steam and go to properties a windows should pop up look for LOCAL FILES tab and click on it then BROWSE LOCAL FILES.
After you found preyconfig.cfg open it with notepad.
Holding down ctrl + f on the keyboard will bring up the search window
Search for those commands:
seta r_customHeight "1080"
seta r_customWidth "1920"
Close it and select save.

you can do it ingame as well. In main menu, hit Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Spacebar at the same time to bring console window. Then try those lines but without ‘seta’. Dont forget to hit Enter at the end of the each line.

doesnt need to be in this specific order. After all three done, punch in the final line.

EDIT: ok nevermind it got fixed when i opened console and typed those commands i guess .cfg doesn’t work
Does anyone know how to uncap framerate? Since i want to play at 74fps at least due 74hz screen and game only renders 62-64 frames at best (i have vsync off)

Если разрешение 1600х900 не устанавливается, то его можно выставить вручную, исправив в файле Steam\steamapps\common\Prey\base\preyconfig.cfg:

че за лажа? В эту игру и раньше можно было без проблем играть на 1024х768, тем более, сейчас.
А 1680 на 1050 можно поставить?
Всегда играл в Prey на 1024*768 на максимуме и с макс сглаживанием? Что еще остались компы на которых тормозит думовский движок?

на дровах 169.21 ругается на несовместимость версии OpenGL, но если руки не кривые то игра на максималках — пархает. но реиграбильность у игры — 50 ( "-" это не тира и минус :)))
О спс большое. а то у мя на низких насройках 10 кадров в сек на 600*4000 а терь 15 на 1024*768
Мне этот патч был нужен, когда игра вышла. С тех пор я два раза систему сменил уже.
У меня очень древняя видеокарта GeForce FX 5500, поэтому и пришлось сконструировать этот патч.
Теперь можно играть даже на разрешении 1024×768 и больше. А раньше нельзя было, да?
А у меня на 9300 4Гб озу 2ГГц Cor2Duo тормозит жутко! 640*480 все на мин = 10-12 фпс

Падает ли при этом качество графики? miki nox Если операционка Вин7,то возможны жуткие тормоза т.к большинство игр до 2007 года не совместимы. У меня на Хр так при максимальных настройках 1280*1024 робит,хотя железка слабая,но стабильно выдает 20 fps Geforce 8600gt,2 Gb RAM,3.51 ГГц процессор(одноядерник) sa2010 А ты веришь в эти тупые суеверия?-ололо

Because of not having the video resolution option to 1920×1080, you must access the configuration file in the game folder and change a few lines of script.
-
Open your game for the first time to create the necessary files to configure the resolution (thanks Nightbreed for the reminder).
- Double-click the file, select the option Select a program from a list of installed programs.
- In the new window, select Notepad and click OK. (preferably uncheck “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file”)
